nstalling solar on tile roofs can be tricky. Condition of the weather protection felt can be questionable / unknown. This often results in frustrations down the road (leaks)….
….this is why Gen819 Roofing & Solar, as a roofing and solar company, is doing it right. We will strip off the roof section where we install solar, completely up to the ridge. Then we put a comp shingle roof underneath and build our solar array on it. Last we come back and neatly trim the tiles around the array. Looks better and is a way better solution!!
